今年某次跟老爸老媽出遊
途中經過一家賣花草樹木的農場
在等待的同時 發現了櫃臺附近有堆可愛的小仙人掌
讓我回想起 剛進大學的第一個生日
原本不是我直屬 卻很照顧我的家族學姐
送了我一小盆仙人掌 和一張小卡片
那時真的是非常感動 也讓我永遠記得學姐的恩情
可惜的是 它竟經不起實齋 火爐般的考驗
過沒多久 就被判定腦死了 (白色巨塔看太多 
)
於是我決定再跟仙人掌續續前緣
又挑了兩株不同類型的 想說可以分別吸收住處和研究室的電腦輻射
也來測試一下 我到底是不是個「仙人掌殺手」
沒想到 就在我準備要帶著他們遠行前
其中一株竟被阿罵 放在皮包內 準備要替它換個新家
於是這脆弱的小生命 竟差一點被腰斬…
這意外的車禍 使得它無法跟著我出遠門
也只好把垂危的它留在桃園 看是否還有奇蹟的出現
幾個禮拜後 我回到桃園家中 意外地發現
電視旁竟有一個小花盆跟我之前買的那盆一模一樣
而裡面的住戶 讓我有種似曾相識的感覺
我才知道 原來它還在這人世間
此時老爸老媽也趕緊跑到客廳 來搶功勞
爭先恐後地把自己如何照顧小仙人掌的歷程 說給我聽
無論是哪位醫生救了它 至少它還活著 而且深受老爸老媽的寵愛
原本長長的兔耳朵上 長出來好幾根砲管 變成了一個四不像
希望它能夠適應台北的環境 在新店溪旁的山明水秀之中繼續成長茁壯

而另一株長得有點像蘆薈 但身上卻有著雪餅乾似的花紋
在經過數月的地下室生活之後 似乎有引發絕症的危機
於是也先帶回加護病房中 好好休養一番
