I tried to send SMS via skype interface yesterday to one of my best friend and I found that there’s no any information about my skype account name or my mobile number. The SMS shows some other mobile number code that may make receiver confused who is the SMS sender. The answer is here:

Please note: For SMS sent to mobile phones in USA, China and Taiwan, neither Skype name nor validated mobile number are displayed. Instead, these SMS will have generic, pre-defined numbers as sender ID.
